Research and statistics
An important part of our work is to conduct market research. This helps us understand how different types of payments are used and how they change over time.
Our main in-house source of information are the UK clearing and card payment statistics which are provided by Payments Council and The UK Cards Association members.
Our flagship survey is the Consumer Payments Survey. This is a continuous research survey of UK consumers which has been commissioned on an ongoing basis since 1988. This research provides a wealth of information about personal financial holdings, payments and cash acquisition.
Using our research, we publish a number of reports covering a whole range of research, analysis and statistics on different areas of interest in the payments industry >>
