Account switching – qualitative market research

To ensure the new account switching service delivers what customers need, the Payments Council carried out qualitative market research to test the features of the new service amongst consumers, businesses and charities.

The full findings from the market research and a four page summary were published in January 2012. Quantitative market research into the proposed new account switching service will also be commissioned by the Payments Council in the first half of 2012.
